09 JUL 2011 - The WO Corps 93rd Birthday celebration went very well (click for photos)! Thanks to all who stopped by for a piece of Warrant Officer history, or just a piece of cake.
MAR 2011 - CW3(R) Chris Saindon has won the Logo Contest! Congratulations to him, for all the hard work on his numerous high quality submissions, for the $25 Chili’s Gift Certificate, and for becoming a part of USAWOA Sun City Chapter History. You can see the new logo in use on official correspondence from the chapter, as well as the website and Facebook pages!
FEB 2011 - The USAWOA SCC sponsored a recognition event for the Balfour Restoration Team (a contractor to Balfour Beatty Communities), Friday, 18 February 2011 at 1200. The team worked tirelessly in early February 2011 helping Soldiers and their families in Fort Bliss housing recover from the effects of the deep freeze. The event was held behind the Balfour Beatty Communities Building on Fort Bliss Main Post. For more information, contact CW3(R) John Conwell at john.conwell@us.army.mil.
