Fort Hood Silver Chapter Warrant Officer
Association (FHSCWOA) Scholarship Program

The FHTX Silver Chapter USAWOA Scholarship Foundation is pleased to offer the program for school year 2011-2012.

The goal of the program is to make financial awards to the most deserving candidates. Decisions are made by a selection committee and are based on the whole-person concept. Over the years, USAWOA conducted various fund raising approaches. Currently our primary funds sources are direct contributions and the annual Combined Federal Campaign. Substantial portions of the proceeds are set aside for the scholarship program. In the summer of 2011 the Foundation will award scholarships of not less than $1,000 each to deserving and qualified applicants. Some separate, specific scholarships may also be awarded. Entities or individuals externally fund these scholarships. A separate application is NOT required for these specific scholarships.

Application packets must be received between January 1 and May 1, 2012 in order to be considered for this year’s program. Completed application packets should be mailed directly to: FHTX Silver Chapter USAWOA Scholarship Foundation,
